2025 was a particularly eventful year for the Hotel West End . Between its environmental commitments, cultural events, musical evenings, and charitable initiatives, this iconic establishment on the Promenade des Anglais once again affirmed its values and its art of hospitality. Here's a look back at the highlights that marked this year.
Renewal of the Green Key label
The West End Hotel began 2025 with a commitment to sustainability. For the third consecutive year, the 4-star establishment has been awarded the Green Key label, an international recognition that rewards ongoing efforts towards more responsible tourism.
Among the notable initiatives of 2025, a partnership with Les Alchimistes, specialists in food waste recovery, enabled the collection and processing of over 10 tons of biowaste. This locally collected waste is transformed into compost, thus contributing to a virtuous circular economy.
Brooklyn2Nice evenings: a summer filled with music
Another highlight of the year: the launch of the Brooklyn2Nice live evenings. Throughout the summer, the group took over the terrace of the Le Siècle restaurant, offering guests a cosmopolitan, vibrant and warm atmosphere.
These musical events, organized every Tuesday until October, have breathed new energy into the restaurant, transforming summer evenings into genuine moments of sharing and conviviality, facing the Mediterranean.
Opera evenings: the magic of winter at Le Siècle restaurant
During the winter season, the ever-popular Opera evenings have made their grand return to Le Siècle restaurant, every first Friday of the month. Inspired by the concept of singing waiters, the meal is transformed into an opera performance during which the waiters become singers.
This year again, the voices that resonated at Le Siècle were soprano Laurie Jauffret, a graduate of the Nice National Conservatory, and tenor Gilles San Juan, who rose to fame during season 8 of The Voice. Together, they offered unforgettable evenings, blending gastronomy and emotion on the Promenade des Anglais.
Pink October: a record-breaking mobilization of solidarity
Every October, the West End Hotel joins forces with other establishments in the 3A Hotels La Collection group to support the fight against breast cancer. Committed to the Pink October campaign since 2019, the hotel actively contributes to fundraising for the Côte d'Azur-based association SOS Cancer du Sein.
The 2025 edition marked a turning point with exceptional mobilization from teams, clients, and partners. Thanks to various charitable initiatives, €9,588 was raised, far exceeding the previous year's record of €7,904.
The Green Santas: Solidarity at the heart of the holidays
As the holiday season approaches, the West End Hotel has once again placed solidarity at the heart of its initiatives. Alongside the Aston La Scala Hotel and the Beau Rivage Hotel, the establishment participated in the Green Santa Claus campaign, organized to benefit the Secours Populaire (a French charity) of the Alpes-Maritimes region.
For the seventh consecutive year, the three hotels of the 3A Hotels La Collection group invited locals and visitors to share the magic of Christmas with those in need. Each year, nearly 1,500 toys are collected through this initiative, illustrating the generosity and spirit of solidarity that characterize Nice and its visitors.
A year true to the values of the West End Hotel
Through these key events, the Hotel West End reaffirms its commitment in 2025 to sustainable tourism, high-quality cultural programming, and meaningful community initiatives. A year rich in emotions, encounters, and shared experiences, reflecting the spirit of this iconic establishment on the Promenade des Anglais.
