To mark Bastille Day, celebrated in Nice on 13 July, the West End Hotel****, a member of the 3A H\u00f4tels La Collection group, and Le Si\u00e8cle restaurant are offering an exceptional Opera evening. Guests will be able to sample a delicious menu prepared by the restaurant’s brigade, while enjoying the greatest opera arias performed by artists from the C\u00f4te d’Azur. Two opera singers – Laurie Jauffret and Gilles San Juan – will be hiding among the waiters to sing the most beautiful arias, from La Donna \u00e8 Mobile in Rigoletto to Brindisi in La Traviata.<\/p>\n

The programme includes a dozen songs to delight the ears of guests, who can then enjoy a delicious dinner prepared with care by the Si\u00e8cle kitchen, which carefully selects all its products. On the menu, guests can opt for Burrata with thyme-grilled vegetables, Rigatoni with Gorgonzola cheese or fillet of Charolais beef with baby vegetables. For dessert, a tempting menu of flavours will delight the most demanding palates, including citrus fruit and white chocolate entremet and rose-glazed macaroon.<\/p>\n

All in the splendid setting of the hotel, which overlooks the Promenade des Anglais and offers a breathtaking panorama of the Mediterranean.<\/p>\n

Pendant 15 jours, le Carnaval de Nice, avec ses deux manifestations\u00a0: les Corsi carnavalesques (de jour ou de nuit) et les Batailles de fleurs, imposera son style et vous offrira un spectacle burlesque, magique et initiatique d\u00e9di\u00e9 \u00e0 la mode sous toutes ses coutures.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Les chars cr\u00e9\u00e9s sur le th\u00e8me d\u00e9fileront lors des Corsi carnavalesques (mardis, samedis et dimanche), accompagn\u00e9s de grosses t\u00eates et d\u2019artistes venant du monde entier dans une ambiance festive et populaire, savamment sc\u00e9nographi\u00e9e, pour revisiter l\u2019histoire de la mode, vous faire rire, sourire mais aussi r\u00e9fl\u00e9chir sur la mode et ses dessous.
