The Mus\u00e9e Mass\u00e9na<\/strong>
Located next door to the West End Hotel – 65 rue de France – the Mus\u00e9e Mass\u00e9na opened its doors in 1921. It was originally a large seaside villa built by Victor Mass\u00e9na, Prince of Essling and Duke of Rivoli. The museum traces the history of Nice and the Riviera, from the First Empire to the end of the Belle \u00c9poque. Furniture, paintings, sculptures and objets d’art are displayed on two floors, linked by a monumental staircase. Numerous exhibitions are organized throughout the year. Until September 22, the museum is devoting an exhibition to the cartoonist Cabu – who died in 2015 – \u201cVive le sport!\u201d. A total of 300 drawings, blending humor, sport and politics are on display in connection with the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.<\/p>\n

The Coul\u00e9e verte and its water mirror<\/strong>
A meeting place for the people of Nice in every season, the Coul\u00e9e verte and its water mirror are a delight for young and old alike. A veritable green lung in the heart of Nice, this large urban park forms a link with Vieux-Nice, offering a lively place to stroll and enjoy with friends and family. Don’t miss: the water mirror! Covering an area of 3,000 m2, the water mirror features 128 jets and a misting plateau. A huge playground for children, but not only! Chapelle de la Mis\u00e9ricorde<\/strong>
Nice has a rich religious heritage! Located on the Cours Saleya, the Chapelle de la Mis\u00e9ricorde is one of the finest examples of Baroque art in France. Built in the 18th century by the Order of Theatins, learned monks from Italy, the chapel is a little marvel, housing pictorial treasures dating back to the 15th century. The Chapelle de la Mis\u00e9ricorde has been listed as a historic monument since 1921. It is open on Tuesdays from 2.30pm to 5.30pm.<\/p>\n

Pendant 15 jours, le Carnaval de Nice, avec ses deux manifestations\u00a0: les Corsi carnavalesques (de jour ou de nuit) et les Batailles de fleurs, imposera son style et vous offrira un spectacle burlesque, magique et initiatique d\u00e9di\u00e9 \u00e0 la mode sous toutes ses coutures.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
