Hôtel West End Commits to Ocean Preservation Through a Major Beach Cleanup Initiative in Nice
In celebration of World Oceans Day on June 8, 2026, Hôtel West End joined the collective initiative led by Collection 3A to organize a waste cleanup operation along the coastline of Nice. This first eco-citizen initiative reflects the establishment’s and its teams’ concrete commitment to environmental responsibility.
A Concrete Mobilization to Preserve the Coastline
Already involved in several solidarity initiatives throughout the year, notably during Pink October and the Green Santas campaign, the 3A Hôtels la Collection group, to which Hôtel West End belongs, continues its responsible approach by focusing this time on ocean preservation and marine biodiversity protection.
Awarded the Green Key label, the establishment reaffirms its determination to go beyond internal commitments by raising awareness among its teams, guests, and the residents of Nice about the environmental challenges linked to coastal pollution.
For this first edition, teams from the group’s different establishments came together in the field, including those from Hôtel West End, Hôtel Beau Rivage, Plage Beau Rivage, Hôtel Aston La Scala, and Résidence Aston La Scala.
A Local Initiative Supported by the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolitan Authority
This beach cleanup operation was organized with the support of the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolitan Authority, which provided the necessary equipment: gloves, litter pickers, and collection bags.
Beyond the concrete action carried out on-site, the objective was also to raise public awareness about the impact of pollution on marine ecosystems. Every piece of waste collected became a strong symbolic gesture, reminding everyone that preserving the coastline depends on collective commitment.
Through this initiative, Hôtel West End Nice confirms its involvement in a broader environmental responsibility approach.
