Every month, Hôtel West End**** is delighted to shine a spotlight on one of its team members through a series of questions, offering an insight into their role and what motivates them in their day-to-day work. Today, the hotel is pleased to introduce Olga Mannoni, receptionist at Hôtel West End.

Could you introduce yourself?

My name is Olga, and I am a receptionist at Hôtel West End. Before joining the hotel, I had the opportunity to work in the tourism industry in several countries, including Turkey and Dubai. I then continued my career in Nice, working in various hotels, which allowed me to gain solid experience in hospitality and guest relations. Today, my role is to assist guests throughout their stay, from arrival to departure. I welcome them, provide information and make sure their needs are met so that they can enjoy the best experience possible.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

What I enjoy most is human interaction. Every guest is different, and each day brings new encounters and new situations. I particularly appreciate being able to help hotel guests and contribute to making their stay as enjoyable as possible.

What advice would you give to a new team member?

I would advise them to enjoy interacting with others and never hesitate to ask their colleagues questions. Hospitality is an industry where you are constantly learning, so it is important to be curious, open-minded and eager to discover new things. Teamwork is also essential to growing and developing confidently in the role.

What is your favourite place at Hôtel West End?

Without hesitation, my favourite place is the Ambassador Suite. I really love its elegance and, above all, its exceptional panoramic view over the Mediterranean Sea, the city of Nice and the Promenade des Anglais. It is a unique place that perfectly embodies the charm of Hôtel West End.

What advice would you give guests to make the most of their stay?

I would encourage them to take full advantage of the hotel’s concierge services. We are here to help them organise their visits and discover the most beautiful places in the region. A stroll through “Vieux Nice”, a relaxing day on the beaches or discovering the iconic towns of the French Riviera are all must-do experiences for making the most of their stay.
