In conjunction with World Oceans Day, celebrated on June 8, 2026, the West End Hotel joined forces with the 3A Collection collective initiative to collect waste along the Nice coastline. This first eco-friendly action concretely illustrates the environmental commitment of the establishment and its teams.
Concrete action to preserve the coastline
Already involved in several solidarity actions throughout the year, notably during Pink October or the Green Santas, the 3A Hotels la Collection group to which the West End Hotel belongs continues its responsible approach by focusing this time on the protection of the oceans and marine biodiversity.
Awarded the Green Key label, the establishment thus affirms its commitment to go beyond internal commitments to raise awareness among its teams, customers and the inhabitants of Nice about the environmental issues linked to coastal pollution.
For this first edition, the teams from the group's establishments were mobilized together on the ground, including those from the Hotel West End, the Hotel Beau Rivage, the Plage Beau Rivage, the Hotel Aston La Scala and the Residence Aston La Scala.
A local initiative supported by the Nice Côte d'Azur Metropolitan Area
This beach cleanup operation was organised with the support of the Nice Côte d'Azur Metropolitan Area, which provided the necessary equipment: gloves, waste grabbers and collection bags.
Beyond the concrete action carried out on the ground, the objective was also to raise awareness among as many people as possible about the impact of pollution on marine ecosystems. Each piece of litter collected thus becomes a powerful symbolic gesture, reminding everyone that the preservation of the coastline depends on everyone's commitment.
Through this initiative, the West End Nice Hotel confirms its commitment to a broader approach to environmental responsibility.
