Throughout October, the Le Siècle restaurant at the West End Hotel is participating in Breast Cancer Awareness Month. To mark this important awareness campaign, the hotel has created a limited-edition cocktail full of sweetness and commitment: the “HOPE” cocktail.
A fruity, fresh and invigorating cocktail, perfect to accompany a lunch or dinner overlooking the Mediterranean.
The recipe for the "HOPE" cocktail
Exceptionally, the bartender is revealing the recipe for the cocktail that you can find throughout October at Le Siècle restaurant:
Ingredients :
- 3 cl of gin
- 1/2 freshly squeezed lime
- 2 cl of watermelon syrup
- 2 cl of lychee liqueur
Preparation :
- In a shaker filled with 8 ice cubes, add the gin, lime juice, watermelon syrup and lychee liqueur.
- Fill the shaker with ice, close it and shake vigorously for about thirty seconds.
- Pour into a Martini glass without ice and enjoy your HOPE cocktail!
And so that everyone can toast to this worthy cause, HOPE also exists in an alcohol-free version.
A cocktail with a purpose for a good cause: Pink October
Since 2019, the Hotel West End and the establishments of the 3A Hotels La Collection group have actively participated in Breast Cancer Awareness Month (October) alongside the Nice-based association SOS Breast Cancer. Year after year, this mobilization has raised valuable funds. In 2023, the generosity of guests helped raise €7,904. This year, the Hotel West End hopes to do even better thanks to everyone's solidarity. Because behind every glass of HOPE, there is a concrete action: 50% of the pre-tax price of each cocktail sold is donated to SOS Breast Cancer .
