The West End Hotel, awarded the Green Key label for the 3rd consecutive year

The West End Hotel begins 2025 with a strong commitment to sustainability. For the third consecutive year, the 4-star establishment has been awarded the Green Key label, having continued its numerous eco-responsible initiatives aimed at reducing the impact of its operations on the planet. This distinction recognizes the hotel's ongoing efforts in the field of sustainable tourism.

Eco-responsible initiatives and waste recovery

Among its initiatives are the elimination of single-use toiletries, the installation of water-saving devices, the switch to LED lighting throughout, and the sponsorship of beehives located on the Valensole plateau in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence region. The hotel also prioritizes eco-labeled and energy-efficient suppliers and actively encourages its staff and guests to adopt a "Green Attitude."
Finally, another initiative was implemented in collaboration with Les Alchimistes, specialists in food waste recovery. The hotel successfully collected and processed nearly 5 tons of biowaste in 2023. This waste is collected locally and transformed into compost.

A label across the 3A Hotels group: La Collection

More broadly, the entire 3A Hotels La Collection group – including the Hotel Aston La Scala, the Hotel Beau Rivage, and the Beau Rivage Beach – has once again been awarded this prestigious distinction. The hotel group thus reaffirms its commitment to combining excellence in hospitality with responsible practices.

Created in Denmark in 1994, the Green Key label expanded in 1998. To date, it is the leading eco-label for tourist establishments in France, both in terms of the number of certified establishments and its long history. Its mission: to reward hotels, residences, campsites, hostels, guesthouses, as well as restaurants and beaches that are committed to effective environmental practices.

The West End Hotel thus joins the 21 new establishments awarded the Nice Côte d'Azur label, bringing to 68 the total number of partners committed to this same approach.
