Every winter, Laurie Jauffret's luminous voice resonates in the Le Siècle restaurant, in the heart of the West End Hotel. A passionate opera singer, she enchants the venue's opera evenings, offering guests a musical journey where emotion, elegance, and sharing intertwine.
Laurie Jauffret, a lyric soprano from Nice with an international career
Originally from Nice, Laurie Jauffret is a lyric soprano trained at the Conservatoire National de Région de Nice, where she obtained her prize with distinction in 2013. Her career has taken her to many stages, in France and abroad, from the United Kingdom to Belgium, via Luxembourg, where she performs a varied repertoire mixing operas, sacred arias, lyric-modern music and even jazz.
Interestingly, music entered her life somewhat by chance. “I started singing after a karaoke night with friends on vacation when I was 20. I wanted to learn, simply for the pleasure of it, and that's how it all started.” A dancer since childhood, Laurie now combines her two passions. In fact, it's thanks to dance that she feels comfortable on stage.

Laurie loves to play with space and involve the audience, sometimes transforming the entire room into a veritable living stage. Her regularly updated repertoire blends new pieces with timeless classics, ensuring a unique experience each evening. Behind this spontaneity lies constant dedication: the singer rigorously maintains her voice, explores new works, and continually refines her technical mastery.
A memory etched in our minds.
Among the many memorable moments at the West End Hotel was one evening during a fireworks display. While the Promenade des Anglais was closed to traffic, Laurie sang a few songs from the restaurant terrace. A crowd quickly gathered on the promenade: nearly a thousand people stopped to listen. Time seemed to stand still. This moment of connection with the audience remains one of the most significant of her career at Le Siècle.
