Can you introduce yourself?
My name is Saverio, I'm a bartender, and I joined the West End Hotel at the beginning of the year. It's been a wonderful adventure that started just a few months ago, but I already feel very much a part of the team. I hope to continue this collaboration with them for a long time.
What do you find most fascinating about your job?
What I enjoy most is interacting with customers. I love welcoming them, creating a friendly atmosphere, and sharing a pleasant moment with them. Working behind a bar is a bit like being on stage: you have to bring energy and a smile. I also place great importance on preparing drinks, including cocktails, coffees, and other beverages, because every detail counts.
What advice would you give to a new employee?
I would tell him that above all, you need to be passionate about the job. It's a job where you meet a lot of people, and it requires listening skills, empathy, and reliability. It's a very rewarding position and a real pleasure to do if you enjoy interacting with people and sharing experiences.
What is your favorite spot in the West End Hotel?
Without hesitation, the terrace of the recently renovated Le Siècle restaurant. It has a fresh and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for enjoying a convivial moment. I also really like the hotel lobby, with its timeless charm and elegance.
What are your best memories of the hotel?
I'm still getting started here, so I don't have many memories yet, but I've already had the pleasure of experiencing some wonderful opera evenings with warm and passionate patrons. I'm sure many more moments will enrich this experience.
What advice would you give to guests to make the most of their stay?
I would simply tell them to come and discover this superb hotel! The restaurant is excellent, the bar too, and above all, the welcome is exceptional. The West End Hotel truly has something unique to offer each of its guests.
