Christmas & New Year: festive menus and opera evening at Le Siècle restaurant
The festive season is fast approaching! Once again this year, Hôtel West End****, a member of 3A Hôtels La Collection, and Le Siècle restaurant are decked out in their finest festive attire to welcome you in a festive and magical atmosphere. Christmas tree, garlands, winter cocktails… everything has been thought of to put stars in your eyes during this festive season. And that’s not all.
Head for Le Siècle, the hotel restaurant facing the Promenade des Anglais. In the kitchens, Chef Cyril Breteau and his brigade have concocted end-of-year menus that promise an explosion of flavours on the palate. Whether it’s for Christmas or for the transition to 2024, the gourmet and festive menus are sure to delight even the most discerning palates. A glass of champagne and amuse-bouche will precede a 3- or 4-course menu prepared with the finest ingredients. For dinner on 24 December, guests will be able to enjoy, for example, a Tatin of foie gras with Cognac juice, a St Pierre with champagne and caviar sauce or a Christmas log with chocolate and chestnut cream. The same goes for the Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day menus.
The evening of 31 December will also be a great opportunity to revisit the greatest opera classics at Le Siècle restaurant. Lyric singers from the Côte d’Azur – Laurie Jauffret, Gilles San Juan and Mickael Guedj – will be hiding amongst the waiters to sing the most beautiful arias, from the Donna è Mobile from Rigoletto to the Brindisi from La Traviata. All in the splendid setting of the hotel, which overlooks the Promenade des Anglais and offers a breathtaking panorama of the Grande Bleue.
