La Palmeraie: the ephemeral bar at the West End Hotel reopens its doors

Located on the Promenade des Anglais, the West End Hotel’s ephemeral bar – La Palmeraie – is reopening its doors for another summer season.

From Thursday 16 May 2024, this ephemeral relaxation area welcomes locals and visitors alike for a refreshing break. Located on the shaded terrace of the iconic Nice establishment, La Palmeraie is open every day from 2pm to 11pm, providing an ideal escape during the week or a festive meeting place at the weekend.

Throughout the summer, La Palmeraie will be buzzing to the sound of live music. On Friday and Saturday evenings from 24 May, the venue will be set alight with live performances by Côte d’Azur artists such as Fanny Mendes, the duo Mofo, Jude Todd, Miane, Nicoline, Julie Mac Millian and many others. On Tuesdays in July and August, the group Brooklyn2Nice will be providing a funky atmosphere with a repertoire ranging from funk and soul to rhythm’n blues. La Palmeraie also has a number of special evenings in store for you throughout the summer, including the Fête de la Musique, the Fête nationale and 15th August.

During these unique occasions, you can enjoy a varied drinks menu, with signature cocktails such as the 31 Prom, the Maitai du Siècle, the Cointreau Spritz, the Pink Lover and the So Fresh (alcohol-free). Lovers of good food and drink will be delighted to take advantage of the happy hour, offered every day from 5pm to 6pm.

For gourmets, charcuterie and cheese boards will be available to share until 31 May. And from 1 June, a selection of gourmet tapas will be added to the menu. Finally, to extend the evening, head to the adjoining restaurant, Le Siècle, renowned for its seasonal cuisine and its flambéed dishes, for an unforgettable gastronomic experience!

La Palmeraie, the summer jewel of the West End hotel – a member of 3A Hôtels La Collection – awaits its guests for a season of relaxation, music and flavours. A unique experience in the heart of the Côte d’Azur!
