The West End Hotel, awarded the Clef Verte label for the 3rd year running

L’Hôtel West End, labellisé Clef Verte pour la 3e année consécutive

The West End Hotel is starting 2025 under the banner of commitment. For the 3rd year running, the 4* establishment has been awarded the Green Key label after continuing its multitude of eco-responsible actions aimed at reducing the impact of its activities on the planet. This distinction rewards the hotel’s ongoing efforts in the field of sustainable tourism.

Eco-responsible initiatives and waste recovery

Among its initiatives are the elimination of single-dose welcome products, the installation of water-saving devices, the switch to LED lighting in all areas, and the sponsorship of beehives located on the Valensole plateau in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence region. The hotel also favours eco-labelled, energy-efficient suppliers, and actively encourages its staff and guests to adopt a “Green Attitude”.
Finally, another initiative has been put in place in collaboration with Les Alchimistes, specialists in food waste recovery. The hotel managed to collect and recycle almost 5 tonnes of bio-waste in 2023. The waste is collected locally and turned into compost.

A label for the entire 3A Hôtels La Collection Group

More broadly, the entire 3A Hôtels La Collection group – including the Hôtel Aston La Scala, the Hôtel Beau Rivage and the Plage Beau Rivage – has once again been awarded this precious seal of approval. The hotel group is thus reaffirming its ambition to combine hotel excellence with responsible practices.
Created in Denmark in 1994, the Green Key label was developed in 1998. To date, it is the leading ecolabel for tourist establishments in France, both in terms of the number of establishments awarded the label and the length of time it has been in force. Its mission is to reward hotels, residences, campsites, inns, self-catering cottages, restaurants and beaches that are committed to a high-performance environmental approach.

The Hôtel West End joins 21 new establishments with the Nice Côte d’Azur label, bringing to 68 the total number of partners committed to this same approach.
