The West End Hotel Joins Forces with the “Green Santas”: A 7th Toy Drive to Support Underprivileged Children
As the holiday season approaches, the West End Hotel is once again reinforcing its commitment to solidarity. Alongside the Aston La Scala Hotel and the Beau Rivage Hotel, it is taking part in the “Green Santas” campaign, an emblematic charity initiative supporting the Secours Populaire of the Alpes-Maritimes region.
For the 7th consecutive year, the three establishments of the 3A Hôtels La Collection group are inviting residents of Nice and visitors to share a bit of Christmas magic with those who need it most.
Green Santas: A Major Toy Collection Open to All
From November 28 to December 19, 2025, everyone is invited to drop off toys, books, stuffed animals, puzzles, or board games at the foot of the Christmas tree set up in the lobby of the West End Hotel.
On December 19, volunteers from the Secours Populaire, dressed as Green Santas, will collect all donations. These items will then be offered during a solidarity sale, enabling the association to raise essential funds. Thanks to the proceeds generated by this initiative, the Secours Populaire will be able to purchase new toys, bringing a true moment of joy to the most disadvantaged children during the holidays. Each year, nearly 1,500 toys are gathered across the three hotels thanks to this initiative — a figure that illustrates the generosity of the residents of Nice and its visitors.
How to Participate? Toys can be dropped off at the West End Hotel, the Aston La Scala Hotel, and the Beau Rivage Hotel until December 19 at noon. For safety reasons, donations must be in good condition, complete, and not gift-wrapped.
3A Hôtels La Collection: A Committed Actor All Year Round
Since 1945, the Secours Populaire Français has been actively fighting against poverty and exclusion. In the Alpes-Maritimes region, the Green Santas campaign, created in 1976, brings support, dignity, and hope to families in need as the holidays approach.
For its part, 3A Hôtels La Collection has increased its solidarity initiatives since 2019. In 2025, the group notably contributed to the “Pink October” campaign, raising more than €9,588 for the association SOS Cancer du Sein.
So, what are you waiting for? Drop off a toy and bring one more smile this Christmas!
