HOPE: the Pink October cocktail created by Le Siècle restaurant
Throughout October, Le Siècle restaurant at the West End Hotel is getting into the Pink October spirit. To mark this essential awareness campaign, the hotel has come up with a limited-edition creation that is both sweet and socially conscious: the ‘HOPE’ cocktail.
A fruity, fresh and lively cocktail, perfect for accompanying lunch or dinner overlooking the Mediterranean.
The recipe for the ‘HOPE’ cocktail
Exceptionally, the bartender is revealing the recipe for the cocktail, which you can enjoy throughout October at Le Siècle restaurant:
Ingredients:
- 3 cl gin
- Half a freshly squeezed lime
- 2 cl watermelon syrup
- 2 cl lychee liqueur
Preparation:
- In a shaker filled with 8 ice cubes, add the gin, lime juice, watermelon syrup and lychee liqueur.
- Fill the shaker with ice, close it and shake vigorously for about 30 seconds.
- Pour into a Martini glass without ice and enjoy your HOPE cocktail!
And so that everyone can raise a glass to this worthy cause, HOPE is also available in a non-alcoholic version.
A cocktail committed to a worthy cause: Pink October
Since 2019, the West End Hotel and the establishments of the 3A Hôtels La Collection group have been actively participating in Pink October alongside the Nice-based association SOS Cancer du Sein. Year after year, this initiative has raised valuable funds. In 2023, the generosity of guests raised €7,904. This year, the West End Hotel hopes to do even better thanks to everyone’s solidarity.
Behind every glass of HOPE is a concrete gesture: 50% of the pre-tax amount of each cocktail sold is donated to SOS Cancer du Sein.
